Alex and Tim’s Big Bad Book of Petty Punny Puns:

Now on Sale! (normal price $7.89)

Veteran Pioneer Press illustrator Tim van Ness (baseball guy: the book) teams up with young author Alex Galick to bring you puns, the whole puns, and nothing but the puns in this new book series of whacky, off kilter illustrations. Each book contains 50 pages of 9 x 12 inch illustrations of phrases like Chili weather, army kernel, and fowl play: A cavalcade of puns for everyone.

We’re always looking for more puns, so feel free to send suggestions in your amazon feedback, and we’ll see if we can incorporate them into the series.

About the Authors:
Tim van Ness wants to be a cartoon when he grows up. He worked for decades as the resident illustrator for the Pioneer Press newspaper based out of St. Paul Minnesota. Tim’s interest in painting, sculpture, and the wonders of Styrofoam brought him to design sets, and direct High School Theater at Tartan High School in Oakdale Minnesota, which is where he met Alex. He has also painted two of the Snoopy Statues sprinkled across the Twin Cities. Can you guess which ones?

Alex Galick is an Actor by training. After graduating from Macalester College in St. Paul Minnesota he moved down to Baton Rouge to study theater at LSU (Geaux Tigers!) and work with Louisiana’s Premier Professional Theater Company: The Swine Palace. He now makes his artistic home with Mu Performing Arts back in the Twin Cities and occasionally leaves town for gigs with small mom-and-pop theaters like the Tony Award-Winning Utah Shakespeare Festival.
